With over 5,000 acres to choose from, every skier has plenty of space.

 

Skiing is not the only thing you can do in the Vail area. You can ski cross-country style, take a walk through some of the local shops, and catch a horse drawn sleigh ride.

Summertime offers visitors even more Vail attractions. You can go white water rafting down one of the nearby rivers or hike on one of the many backwoods trails. If you don't want to walk, local outfitters offer horseback trail rides through the forest.

 

You can visit the Colorado Rockies, without taking a drive to take in the beautiful scenery. The roadways are lined on each side by rising landscapes filled with beautiful green pine trees and stately aspens. In the fall, the hillsides light up with the changing colors of aspens and foliage that resembles a fireworks display.

 

It is easy to travel to Vail. You can fly right into the Eagle Vail airport, or take Interstate 70 from Denver or Grand Junction. The resort has its own travel planning agency to help you set up your vacation.

Resort condo rentals are available year-round. Cheap Vail deals are available during the summer months as prices can be fairly reasonable. There are also a variety of hotels, bed and breakfasts, and rental homes available. Make your plans early to beat the seasonal rush.
